This beautiful 130 m2 apartment can comfortably sleep up to five people and is located on the first floor (without a lift) of an independent palatial residence, situated in a small side street near the Ponte Rialto and the Piazza San Marco. It is the ideal accommodation choice for those who want to stay in the centre of the city and enjoy the sites without being on the main tourist circuit and still enjoy all the comforts of home.
This spacious apartment has been simply decorated with a main entrance leading on to a long corridor that separates the two main areas. There are three bedrooms- the first with a double bed, the second with two singles and the third with one single bed. All the bedrooms look onto the wonderful views of the Canal Rio de San Severo which are beautifully spotted
with the movement of its gondolas. The modern kitchen is fully equipped and has a table and chairs. There are two bathrooms – the first has a shower cabin, whilst the second has a bath. There is also air conditioning available.
The peaceful location is ideal for those who want to relax but can easily reach the main monumental sites of Venice in just a short walk. The area surrounding the Campo Santa Maria Formosa is full of craft shops and typical restaurants. There is also the nearby ferry station that means visitors have a wonderful starting spot for some great excursions all around the lake.

Globalement bien: les deux chambres et le séjour donnent sur le canal, ce qui est très sympa. L'appartement est central, à 5 min de tout et 10min de la Place Saint Marc. Formule de location très sympa.
Fantastically central location, down a quaint backstreet. Perfectly adequate facilities inside with lovely canal view and so on. However, there was no kettle, which made making tea tiresome, and there was no plug for either sink in the kitchen, which made washing up tiresome too. Also, it seems ...daft that we had to provide our own washing up liquid when the bottle from the previous tenants could have been left there, as indeed our bottle could be left for next lot. Seems an unnecessary waste of time and money. Ditto kitchen and loo rolls, salt and pepper and so on. Lighting extremely dim, especially in the sitting/dining room; peeling wall paper in several rooms; damp stains on kitchen/bathroom walls; leaky washing machine in shower room leading to water on the floor; kitchen floor and corridor floors appeared not to have been swept for some time. Overall, though, was fine, if hardly luxurious, and we had a great time. FP, our contact, was delightful and very helpful in storing our bags before the check-in time and in explaining the extraordinarily complex rubbish and recycling rules. The apartment was in a very central and atmospheric location and once it's had a lick of paint, new lighting, a kettle and plugs in the sinks, we'll definitely be back!
