How do I search for accommodation?
Click on the home page and enter your travel dates in the search box. Choose the type of accommodation you prefer, state the number of people travelling and press search. ·Review the accommodation available and click on 'details' to find out more about a specific property. Book online by filling in our reservation form.
How do I make a booking online?
Once you have chosen your preferred accommodation you can book it online by filling in our reservation form. Please follow all the steps and give all the information asked for.
How do I find out the apartment address?
So that you can get a comprehensive idea of the flat’s location, we include an interactive Google map within the tabbed pages about the property. You will also find the name of the street and details of the floor the apartment is located on within these tabs.

Once you’ve completed your booking we’ll send you an email confirming all the details about your stay, including the apartment address.
Where or to whom will I have to pay the rent?
You will have to pay the rent directly to the owner or guardian of the accommodation, in cash and on arrival at the accommodation. For some apartments you have to/can pay the rent to the owner before your arrival by bank transfer. All this information will be stated in the booking confirmation we will send you.
Where and when will I receive the keys?
The owner or guardian of the accommodation will give you the keys when he shows you into the accommodation. The steps outlining what you should do to arrange to meet the owner/guardian will be explained in the booking confirmation we will send you.
What will I have to bring along?
All our listed lodgings are fully furnished, equipped, with sheets and towels provided (except some of the Shared Flats). So all you need to bring along are your personal belongings.
What is the "deposit"? How I can check the amount I have to pay as a deposit?
The deposit is the owners´guarantee that no damage will be done to the accommodation during your stay. At check-in you will have to pay the deposit (if one is required) plus the rent to the owner. At check-out, the owner will check the condition of the apartment and refund you your deposit providing all is in order. You in turn, must give back the keys. The amount of the deposit depends on the accommodation. The respective amount that you should pay as a deposit can be found below the price quoted for your travel dates, in the full descripton of the accommodation. If the deposit is 0,00€, this means that the owner does not require you to pay any deposit for the accommodation in question.
When will I receive the booking confirmation?
Usually you receive it in the very moment you make your booking, providing that the reservation form has been filled in properly. Please note: we cannot confirm your reservation unless we received all the information asked for on the reservation form and until we have received the prepayment. Please note: We update our listings constantly to guarantee the real-time booking service for accommodation in Barcelona.
How can I cancel my accommodation reservation?
All cancellations must be made by e-mail of fax to the personell manager. Please note that our conditions for cancellation differ depending on how much advance notice you give for the cancellation. For further information, please consult our terms and conditions.
Will I be refunded if I cancel my accommodation reservation?
Usually, our conditions for the cancellation of an accommodation depend on the date the client cancels his/her reservation. Please, check the terms of cancellation of a reservation in our terms and conditions.
How far in advance should I book an accommodation?
Our accommodation is very much in demand, espically during high season. Therefore we would always advise that you book as soon as you decide on which one of our accommodations you would like to use to make sure you get the one you want. Please note: We confirm the reservations on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Do you have any more short-term rentals other than those offered on your site?
No, all available accommodation is shown on our site.
I would like to show your accommodation to my friends/family, could you please send me a catalogue?
As we work exculsively via the internet we don´t have a catalogue. Here are some solutions if that is inconvient for you: · Wherever you are, you can go online to ··www.oh-barcelona.com and look at our accommodation. The accommodation is presented with much more detail and with many more photos than normally found in a printed catalogue. · Give your friends/family our Internet address, ··www.oh-barcelona.com and in just a few minutes they can connect to our website and see all our available accommodation without having to wait for a catalogue. · You also have the possibility to send our offers to your friends/family by email, using our "Send to a friend" option. · If one of your friends/family does not have internet access you can print off the pages of your preferred accommodation and give it to him/her. · In contrast to printed catalogues, our site is constantly updated. We work on it every day to give you the most up to date information on availability and prices.

How do I search for a Hotel in Venice?
Click on "Quick Search" in the Accommodation section on the homepage of our site. Choose the type of accommodation you prefer and enter in your travel dates and no. of people travelling. Review the Hotels in Venice available and click on the Hotel name to find out more about a specific Hotel in Venice. Book the Hotel online by filling in our reservation form. Please make sure to give us all the information asked for.
How do I make a booking of a Hotel?
Once you have chosen your preferred Hotel in Venice you can book the Hotel online by filling in our reservation form. Please follow all the steps and give all the information asked for.
When and to whom will I have to pay?
You will have to pay the total amount in the very moment of doing the reservation on our webpage. We directly pass all your personal dates and travel dates to the Hotel.
When will I receive the booking confirmation?
Usually you receive it in the very moment of doing the reservation, providing that the reservation form has been filled in properly. Please note: we cannot send you the Accommodation Voucher unless we received all the information asked for on the reservation form and until we have received the payment.
How can I cancel my Hotel reservation?
All cancellations of Hotel reservations must be made by e-mail or fax to the personal manager. Please note that our conditions for Hotel cancellation differ depending on how much notice you give in advance for the cancellation. For further information, please consult our terms and conditions.

Payment

Is it safe to fill in the form with my credit card details?
We take every precaution to protect your information, especially sensitive information such as your credit card number. On our site sensitive information is encrypted and protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our booking form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just surfing. We also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted to our offices. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and Privacy Practices.
Which methods of payment do you accept?
For the prepayment we accept credit card (Visa, EuroCard/MasterCard, American Express and JCB) or cash payable directly to us in our offices. The outstanding balance has to be paid directly to the owner on the day of arrival. Some owners also accept bank transfer before your arrival. If you prefer this, please check with him/her directly once you received the booking confirmation with his/her contact details.
Can I pay Open House Spain S.L. the balance due after the prepayment?
No. This is not possible. The balance due on an accommodation has to be paid directly to the owner.
Can I pay the balance due by credit card?
No. This is not possible. On the day of your arrival, you have to pay the balance due IN CASH. Of course, you will receive a receipt of payment. Please read also: ·Where or to whom will I have to pay the rent?
Can I receive an invoice?
As the accommodation listed on our website are private homes, it is not always possible to receive an invoice for the total amount of the reservation. If an invoice is required, please contact Open House Spain S.L before making a reservation. On the other hand, if the reservation is for a hotel room or a Spanish Course, invoices can be provided.
